Chakras

The Chakras are energetic vortices that feed our 7 Auric Fields with universal energy. There are 7 main Chakras, located at specific points, and each of them with an anterior and posterior face (except Chakras 1 and 7 that act as a couple). In addition, each chakra is related to a body system and an specific psychological aspect of our being. Their functions and diverse qualities are described below.

1 Chakra

  • Location: Base of your spine. Perineum.
  • Affirmation: “I AM”, “I HAVE”, “I LIVE”
  • Element: Earth
  • Color: Red (Connects likewise with black and brown)
  • Symbol: Square/Cube
  • Functions and Qualities: Connection to earth, groundedness, stability, safety, vitality, will power, basic survival needs (food, shelter, clothing, rest, money, procreation), self-preservation, body consciousness and primitive self.
  • Body System: Immune, musculoskeletal, integumentary, lymphatic, and excretory (large intestine and bladder) systems. Additionally, reproductive organs, lower extremities and adrenal glands
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-preservation
  • Energetic Focus: Physical/Material realm
  • Basic Need: Security
  • Energy Type: Yang/Masculine
  • Animal Symbol/Totem: Elephant (Ganesh), snake, ox, bull and mole
  • Archangel/Angelic Vibration: Gabriel and angels of the earth
  • Signs of Imbalance: Insecurity, fear, greed, lust, avarice, negativity, survival mode state (fight or flight), eating disorders, financial difficulties, ungrounded fantasy life, demotivation, and powerlessness. Problems related to the before mentioned body systems

2 Chakra

  • Location: Lower-Abdomen/Pelvis
  • Affirmation: “I FEEL”, “I WANT”, “I SENSE”

  • Color: Orange
  • Symbol: Circle/Sphere
  • Functions and Qualities: Emotional Self, feelings, pleasure, creativity, sensuality and sexuality. Self-expression, intimate and social needs. Tribal consciousness, animal instincts, duality/polarity, changes and movement
  • Body System: Reproductive system (prostate, testes, womb and ovaries), and sexual organs. Additionally, lymph system and nose
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-creation/Self-gratification and Creative Flow 
  • Energetic Focus: Sexual
  • Basic Need: Pleasure
  • Energy Type: Yin/Feminine
  • Animal Symbol/Totem: Alligator/crocodile (Makara), fish, dolphin, sea creatures and water animals. Additionally, elephant, deer, and badger
  • Archangel/Angelic Vibration: Zadkiel and angels of birth
  • Signs of Imbalance: Dependency and co-dependency to “easy/fast” pleasures, overindulgence, domination by own emotions, emotional numbness and stuckness, lack of self-expression, creativity blockage, lack of sexual desire or sexual obsessions, lack of pleasure and satisfaction in life. Problems related to the before mentioned body systems

3 Chakra

  • Functions and Qualities: Identity, individuality, self-empowerment, self-confidence, assertiveness, intellect, mental force and willpower. Center for ego, judgment and morality
  • Body System: Gastrointestinal and metabolic system. Additionally, pancreas and adrenal cortex (outer)
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-empowerment/Self-definition,

  • Energy Type: Yang/Masculine

  • Signs of Imbalance: Over-controlling and authoritarian tendency. Misuse of power. Doubtful, uncertain and diffident. Powerlessness, irresponsibility. Lack of clarity, purpose and ambition. 4 Chakra

  • Location: Center of the chest

  • Color: Green and Pink
  • Symbol: Cross/Hexagram
  • Functions and Qualities: Unconditional love, compassion, integration, forgiveness, and deep relationships. Bridge between physical world and spiritual world. Shared experiences, union and devotion. Mind-Body Connection. Spiritual Growth, and transcend the limitations of the ego
  • Body System: Cardiovascular system. Additionally, vagus nerve and thymus gland
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-love/self-acceptance
  • Energetic Focus: Social
  • Basic Need: Love
  • Energy Type: Yin/Feminine
  • Animal Symbol/Totem: Black antelope, gazelle, birds and dove. Additionally, all Mammals
  • Archangel/Angelic Vibration: Raphael and angels of healing
  • Signs of Imbalance: Defensive, hermit, aloof and inconsiderate attitude. Fear of intimacy. Loneliness, resentfulness and envy. Codependency, utmost necessity of others approval and attention, and excessive need to please at all costs. Always adopting the role of savior, or falling frequently into victimization. 5 Chakra

  • Location: Throat

  • Element: Ether
  • Color: Blue (sky)
  • Symbol: Chalice/Cup
  • Functions and Qualities: Communication and reception, self-expression, authenticity, loyalty and inner truth. Gateway to wisest will. Inspiration and perfect timing. Center of inner voice
  • Body System: Respiratory and nasopharyngeal system, throat, neck, arms and hands. Additionally, thyroid and parathyroid glands
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-expression/Self-honesty
  • Energetic Focus: Creative
  • Basic Need: Expression
  • Energy Type: Yang/Masculine
  • Animal Symbol/Totem: White Elephant (Airavata), lion, bull and humanity
  • Archangel/Angelic Vibration: Michael
  • Signs of Imbalance: Insecurity, timidity and introversion. Excessive talking, verbally aggressive, or lack of control over it (too much or inadequate).   • Body System: Lower brain, left eye, ears, nose and nervous system. Additionally, endocrine system and pituitary gland
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-Awareness/Self-reflection

  • Functions and Qualities: Connection and spiritual truth, wisdom, enlightenment, being one with the whole, union, integration and pure energy. Universal consciousness and surrender to the divine. The super-conscious mind. Intelligence. Connection to the higher planes of consciousness
  • Body System: Upper brain, right eye, and entire nervous system. Additionally, immune system and pineal gland (circadian rhythms)
  • Consciousness Focus: Self-knowledge/altruism
  • Energetic Focus: Spiritual
  • Basic Need: Feel whole
  • Energy Type: Yang/Masculine
  • Animal Symbol/Totem: None/Egg. Universal spirit and enlightened human
